This is a 1980 P125 with a 180cc kit & expansion chamber. A very
quick and nimble machine. When i originally found this bike it had a
side car on it. It was all grey, beat to hell with a torn seat cover
and not running. I did stunts on this bike in a music video for the
'Fun Loving Criminals'. I have never seen the video but i heard they
cut out most of the scooter stuff. It's too bad because there was a
lot of scooter dudes in it from the hood all modded out. The song was
'Korean Bodega'.
I eventually sold it to a good guy named Thompson. He owned it
for just 24 hours before some low life cut both the locks he had on
it and trashed it for 2 days. A cool scooter chick friend of my
named Maryanne
came out of her house at 3:30 am to find a crack head sitting on her
scooter. He said he had a scooter like hers for sale but couldn't
tell her whether it was a Vespa or Lambretta. She thought it was most
likely stolen and that it was probably someone's she knew.
Smart girl because when crackhead showed it to her she recognized it
as mine not realizing i had just sold it. Anyway, to make a
long story endless she bought it off him for $50 bucks and then got
my friend God
to keep it in his house for a couple of
nights because i was out of town. It's good to have friends like that
don't ya think? Go
here to see pics of the bike after the trashing.
